Alicia Coplin - Teenager Extraordinaire
Never one to be scared of a fight, Alicia’s stand against an unjust policy in her high school changed the position of the board for everyone. In 2006, this young lady rocked her culture when she stood up to the High School Administration regarding wearing Christian T-Shirts. Her commitment to the Lord and her willingness to stand her ground has now made it legal for Christian kids to openly express their message and testimony. Alicia’s missionary journeys have taken her to the Amazon and South America, We recognize her for her calling and willingness to change the world she lives in for the Kingdom of God.
Brian Dobson - Christian Barbarian
Brian Dobson's name is well known worldwide as trainer for 8 time Mr. Olympia Ronnie Coleman and as an inspiration and mentor to professional athletes. He is also known worldwide for His love in Jesus Christ. Brian’s influence and noncompromising dedication to Christ has taken the message of Jesus to the very heart of His industry. Brian's desire to change the body building world from a narcissistic drug culture to one that honors the Lord, has literally changed the culture in a way like only he could. Brian’s missionary journeys have taken him across the border where he has blessed the poor in the trash dumps of Mattormoros, Mexico and to the local homeless in Ft Worth. He also has held several world records in weightlifting throughout out his life including three he holds right now. We recognize his significant role in building the Kingdom and bringing excellence to the sport of weightlifting and Body building.
Hope Meyer - Testimony of Excellence
Hoper Meyers Graduation speech was more like a Billy Graham Crusade than a commencement. As Valedictorian of her middle school class and the 2008 graduating High School class of Covington High, she was afforded the opportunity to address the several thousand in attendance. Her commitment to excellence through her high school years gained her an influence that no other in her school had. She proclaimed her faith in Jesus Christ despite it being considered 'illegal' at the time and challenged by anti Christian groups. Her message was delivered with grace and power in such away that it impacted the entire stadium and set an amazing example of how good it is to serve the King of Kings. We recognize Hope’s contribution not only to her church and school but to her generation in setting a tone that very few high school graduations have ever seen.
